The US Embassy to the UAE has tweeted that some of its services, including Twitter, will be suspended, due to the United States’ decision to partially close government departments.
Donald Trump announced the closures in relation to a stand-off with the senate over the proposition to build a US-Mexico wall.
The embassy tweeted to its followers.
Posting to this account will be suspended due to the lapse in appropriations. For updates from the Department please follow @StateDept

The suspension of services means hundreds of thousands of workers will have to work unpaid
Or take unpaid leave.
It’s regarding a budget spat over the proposed wall being built between the US and Mexico, in a stand-off between Trump and the US senate.
Nine departments of the 15 federal departments in the US will be partially shutting down until the matter is resolved.
