Certain Visa Overstayers Will Be Offered Free Flights Home As Part Of The Coming Amnesty Period

The visa amnesty is beginning tomorrow – and will be open for three months, enabling visa overstayers and violators a safe passage to fix their visas or leave the country.

And people from Kerala will be offered free flights home during this period, according to the south Indian state’s Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan.

The minister released a statement that Keralites availing the UAE visa amnesty scheme will be flown home, free of charge.

Vijayan said that people wishing to take advantage of this deal should visit one of the nine Al Aweer centres during the visa amnesty period.
