What An Achievement! Dubai Has Been Chosen As The 2020 Capital Of Arab Media
2020 will mark an important year in the UAE.
With EXPO 2020 on the horizon and plans very much underway, (30 million visitors are expected to attend the landmark event), Dubai has just been chosen as the 2020 Capital of Arab Media by the Arab Information Ministers Council.
The announcement confirms the UAE’s role in supporting Arab and international media and further recognises Dubai’s prominent media stature, according to the announcement made in Saudi on Tuesday and shared by Wam.ae.

The move also highlights the openness in the UAE to other cultures and societies as well as promoting the values of moderation and tolerance, and combatting terrorism and extremism
