Residents Beware: A WhatsApp Scam Is Circling Social Media And It Nearly Looks Believable
All too often we hear about scams circling social media and residents need to be aware.
A Lovin Dubai reader alerted us to the following message, which was received via WhatsApp this morning. The message claims to be from Etisalat head office. And that the receiver, as an Etisalat user, is the lucky winner of AED200,000. It even goes so far as to congratulate the recipient and tells them how to claim the money.
And it nearly looks believable…
