A Woman Has Died After Crashing Into A Pillar At Ibn Battuta Mall

A woman has died after her car brutally ploughed into a pillar at the entrance of Ibn Battuta Mall on Saturday morning. 

It happened around 6am and Dubai Police said that the driver had been speeding at the time of the incident and had lost control of her four-wheel-drive once faced by a speed bump where she quickly took a left turn. 

As a result, this caused her to swerve and crash into the pillar.

Emergency medical teams had quickly responded to the incident but she was pronounced dead shortly after reaching the hospital.
