A Woman Blackmailed A Man With Naked Photos Of His Wife For AED367,000
A 29-year-old Lativian woman allegedly threatened a 35-year-old Azerbaijani man to publicise naked photos of his wife if he did not pay her US$100,000 (AED367,000)
It’s reported the woman was colluding with a man, to extort the married couple.
The woman, who works as an flight attendant, denied the crime in the Court of First Instance.
The details
The case, that was first reported to Bur Dubai police, began when the woman sent the man a message on Instagram in December claiming she had pictures of his wife and the Latvian woman’s ex-lover.
The woman told the married man that she wanted US$10,000 (AED36,700) for each photo or else she would share it with his friends and family.
The salesman said the woman sent a photo to him as proof – which led him to transfer US$10,000 (AED36,700) into her account.
He man then reported the crime to Dubai Police
Shortly after the complaint was filed, the police arrested the woman, who was found to be colluding with the man who engaged in physical acts with the man’s wife.
Investigations began and the police were able to confiscate an iPad and a smart phone which contained all the images.
