A British Expat In Dubai Is Still In Hospital After A World Cup Gang Attack
A squabble at the World Cup match showing between England and Croatia in Sports City has resulted in a 42-year-old being hospitalized.
The man reportedly intervened in an altercation taking place on July 11, and ended up with a leg broken in three places, along with a broken hand, nose and thumb according to the Khaleej Times.
The man has been recovering in Rashid Hospital since the incident.
A group of four or five men were in an argument with a couple
The group allegedly attacked the couple. The man saw the attack unfold; in his own account the men were being aggressive, so he intervened. The group of men proceeded to attack him.
The police are investigating the matter, according to the report.
