PICS: The World’s Longest Zipline Is Coming To The UAE
It was announced today that the world’s longest zipline is coming to RAK.
Last year the UAE’s first zipline was built on Jebel Jais and a year later we’re about to welcome the world’s largest… BOOM!
The current record for the world’s longest zipline is 2,200 metres by The Monster in Puerto Rico, and while the official stats for this one have yet to be released, we’ve been promised it will be the world’s largest.
It’s RAK located and the official opening date is set for December…excited isn’t the word!
This is the second big zipline to come to RAK
Last year a zipline was constructed on the UAE’s largest mountain, Jebel Jais, and the response in tourism was huge.
Three courses on this zipline have been available for the last year…
The Ledge Walk which takes around four hours to complete.
The Middle Path which takes around 3.5 hours to complete.
And the Julphar Scare which takes around 1.5 hours to complete.
