No Prizes For Guessing Where The UAE Ranked In The World's Safest Countries Listing

In a the latest travel and tourism report compiled by the World Economic Forum, (WEF) the UAE has placed third in a ranking of the world's safest countries.

Ranked in terms of 'safety and security', Finland topped the list with a safety rating of 6.7, followed by Qatar at 6.61 and the UAE at 6.6.

Residents of the UAE can sleep easy

Aspects such as costliness of common crime and violence, terrorism, ability of the police force to protect and provide safety, and also regions where natural disaster are most likely to strike were all taken into account.

The UK ranked in 63rd position

The US ranked in 73rd position

Nigeria, Columbia, Yemen, Pakistan and Venezuela were the bottom five countries ranked.

Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, Libya, and North Korea did not feature in the listing.
