You Can Now Apply For A Driving License From Your HOME In This Emirate Of The UAE

If you happen to live in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain, we have some good news for you.

As per the new scheme by the Umm Al Quain Police, you can now apply for the driving license from the comfort of your home by giving just AED105 extra, provided you’re eligible, of course!

You also get to undergo the mandatory eyesight examination from your home too

The acting director of the licence department of UAQ Police, Lt-Col Mohammed Khalifa bin informed that not only will the eligible applicants be able to open their driving licence files but also undergo the eyesight examination from their homes. 

He also said that this service is made accessible to people in collaboration with accredited opticians.
