50 Endangered Turtles Got Released On An Abu Dhabi Beach Today And The Pictures Are Beautiful

The Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi has released 50 rehabilitated turtles into the ocean this morning, on the Emirates Palace beach in the capital. 

The EAD released 49 Hawksbill turtles and one Loggerhead Turtle in celebration of the Endangered Species Day which happens on May 19.


All turtles involved in the programme have been rescued from beaches or fishermen and have been treated for infections and any relevant injuries
