It’s Official: BeIN Sports Is Banned In The UAE
BeIN Sports channels have been disabled in the UAE for over a week, and many have been questioning service providers about the channels’ availability.
The UAE government has officially banned the sales of BeIN receivers and cards in the emirates.
Anyone selling BeIN will henceforth be fined.
A statement was publishing on the national news agency WAM
“The UAE authorities have issued a decision today (Wednesday) to stop selling beIN Sports receivers and cards in country. The authorities also warned that any shop selling or renewing such cards would be subject to fines.”
The outages were first noticed on Monday
The outages are linked to the provider – Al Jazeera which is based in Qatar and subsequently banned in the UAE.
