Dubai Sevens Looks Like It’s Turning Into An Epic Mini-Music Festival This Year
A Britney Spears impersonator, (yyyaaassssss) three music stages, the Rugby Village… the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens is about rugby this year, and SO much more.
Seriously, the set up this year is not like you’ve seen it before, this is as much about the music as it is about the game.
Big local and international acts are coming and there’s LOADS of entertainment for kids and teens too, here’s the low-down on the music line-up:
Dubai Sevens will go OFF this year with its own music festival
It’s three days of music and it’s all happening at the Rugby Village
This year there will be three music areas with international DJs, artists and bands with a huge line-up spread across the three days.
Head to The ‘Green Room’ to catch Lisa Maffia and Romeo from So Solid Crew, dance act K-Klaas and DJs from Candypants, Cirque le Soir, SIN events and Clockwork Orange.
Tribute acts will headline the ‘Green Space’ stage
Dubai Sevens LOVES a tribute act so we reckon the ‘Green Space’ stage will be PACKED. The open-air area will be headlined by Flash, a Queen Tribute on Friday and Faux-Asis, an Oasis Tribute band on Saturday.
Yup, only tributes to the GREATEST BANDS of all time – buzzing!
DJs will also play live at the Green Tavern Tent throughout the weekend- stuck for choices you are not.

The Emirates Airlines Dubai Rugby Sevens is on November 29 to December 1 at the Sevens Stadium.
Entry is free on November 29 for all, and children aged 12 and under get free entry all weekend long.
