You Can Now Get Fined As Much As AED10,000 For Littering

In a move to put an end to makeshift dump yards, Al Ain has issued a warning of imposing a fine, between Dh1,000 to Dh100,000 on offenders.

The Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities of Al Ain City Municipality shared the notification on its official Instagram account.

The statement reads, “Throwing demolition waste in residential or public areas will result in a Dh100,000 fine”.
