Road Works In Abu Dhabi Are Expected To Cause Delays Over The Weekend

It looks like the weather won’t be the only thing slowing us down this weekend. Due to maintenance on Abu Dhabi’s islands as Al Maqta Bridge, there is expected to be heavier traffic. The Traffic and Patrols Directorate in Abu Dhabi Police announced that two lanes on Al Maqta Bridge will be partially closed on Thursday in order to carry out road works. This is planned to continue until the 9th of April. According to police, the roadworks are likely to only affect motorists who are Abu Dhabi bound.
