JLT’s Newest And Funkiest Bar Has Just Opened And It’s Oh-So-Hipster Chic
The space formerly known as Cocktail Kitchen has reopened and it’s a bit different from your usual Dubai South bar.
Axe House has just opened its doors in place of Cocktail Kitchen in JLT’s Cluster P, and is oh-so-trendy.
The Axe House is doing a British style bar, but not like your typical England-inspired pub
It’s more about the hip vibes of Shoreditch, Dalston and Hoxton.
There is exposed brick, graffiti on the walls, it’s a grungy bar with plenty of character.
It’s serving up simple, wholesome dishes, alongside experimental cocktails
The food ranges from Notting Hill jerk chicken, to a Brighton style seafood platter, and a portobello mushroom veggie burger.
It oozes character
Right down to the ‘no Despactio’ music policy. This is going to be where ALL the cool kids are going.

Daily happy hour is from 12-8pm, and is a two-for-one bargain on ALL drinks. YES!
Ladies’ night is on a Tuesday, from 5pm-midnight. The gals get four free drinks and EVERYONE gets two-for-one on house drinks before midnight too, so the lads aren’t left out.
