Runners Assemble! The First Ever Dubai Canal Run Is Taking Place In February 2019

Dubai is nothing if not an active city.

Every night of the week you’ll find free running club meets throughout the city, and whether you’re a keen runner or new to the sport, there are plenty of tracks and running routes around the city to get to know.

And now there’s a great big run, happening in February on a notably iconic route to get you motivated!

Runners of Dubai assemble: An official race will take place on Dubai Canal. The event has a maximum capacity for 2,500 runners, so registering early is a must.

The RaceME with OIC- Bupa Global Run is happening on February 15

Choose 1km, 5km or 10km

The event is open to all ages, whether you want to walk it, complete 5km or challenge yourself to 10km.

With a route along the iconic Dubai Canal and a view of Tolerance Bridge, you’ll fly it!

How much?

AED50 for kids and parents are welcome to join their kids for free

AED150 for 5km – register here

AED195 for 10km – register here

The event kicks off at 7am on February 15 (arrivals from 6am)

It’s a tarmac run and there will be plenty of water and aid stations along the way

Parking not available – public transport or taxis recommended!
