The boat show is back and it’s bigger than ever.

The Dubai International Boat Show runs from February 26 until March 2 and it is not JUST for boat experts.

If you want to see some of the world’s most exclusive yachts up close, check out epic water shows, catch the Dubai Fishing Championship and see luxury boats in action, this is absolutely worth a day out.

The Dubai International Boat Show is happening at Dubai Canal, Jumeriah and it kicks off on February 26

1. INSANE boats and yachts

You can get up close and personal with some of the world’s most exclusive yachts, this is an opportunity that doesn’t roll around too often, so live a little and grab it!

Look out for the beautifully designed Princess F62, the mega Sirena 64 and for a super yacht check out the Majesty 140. These are yacht GOALS.

2. Epic sea toys

Far from the humble jet ski, catch the world’s ultimate sea toys in action.

Ever heard of the Awake Ravik? This is an electric surfboard and it looks like so much fun. The show will also display Seabobs, Seacrafts, Iguana yachts and Sharkbanzs (arm bands that deter sharks). These promise to be water vehicles unlike you’ve seen before.

You can also catch the UAE Aquabike championship – these jet-ski competitors are INCREDIBLY talented and watching this stuff live is genuinely thrilling.

3. Dubai Fishing Competition

Dubai is a known fishing hub with some royals (ehem, HH Sheikh Hamdan) known as fishing enthusiasts who display impressive catches regularly. Now you can catch it all in action, as the region’s finest anglers go head-to-head using a rod and reel or a handline, while fishing from a boat.

With serious prize money up for grabs, this gets competitive!

Catch top speaker Ali Bin Thalith, who was awarded ‘international photographer of the year’ in 2018 by HIPA. He will be giving his insights into underwater photography along with sharing his passion for conversing marine environment.

5. The flying yacht

If you visited the show last year, you’ll remember this. The FOILER prototype was on display in 2018 and its preproduction will be on display at the show this year.

ENATA, a UAE based company is creating this slick revolutionary vehicle that literally makes passengers feel like they’re flying, thanks to its unique design. 1,000 hours of testing and the FOILER is ready to show in the UAE. Don’t miss this!
