However, with so many of these parties costing an arm and a leg to attend, usually the dream ends there.

Dubai Opera is hosting the triple threat. This is what you need to know
1. Ladies and gents, this is a black-tie affair
Arrive at 6pm for a full evening of style and comfort knowing you’ve chosen the ultimate venue to ring in the new year.
Guest are greeted with canapés from 6pm before being whisked towards the auditorium at 7pm for the evening’s performance.
2. Your ticket gets you access to the swankiest New Year’s Eve Gala Concert in town
The London Concert Orchestra is in town and gearing up to see off 2017 is a fantastic fashion.
One of the UK’s most prominent orchestras, the performance by the 50-piece band is an experience you won’t forget. With Soloists Ilona Domnich and Jesus Leon and a programme of much loved classics including Nessun Dorma, Die Fledermaus Overture and Blue Danube Waltz and sing along classics to get the whole crowd involved.
3. You’ll have an unbeatable view of the Burj Khalifa light show
The world’s tallest tower is attempting to break a world record on New Year’s Eve with the world’s biggest ever light show. And the private viewing areas provided by Dubai Opera may be the ultimate spot to catch the show.
There are three packages to choose from
The bronze package from AED800 includes canapés throughout the evening, access to the Gala Concert and a spectacular view of the Burj Khalifa from a dedicated area on the promenade (there will be a cash bar for drinks available throughout the night).
The silver package from AED1,800 is as above with unlimited drinks all evening until 12 (when you’ll be treated to a celebratory toast).
The gold package from AED2,400 includes a four-course buffet gala meal, with an incredible array of live cooking stations followed by a view of the Burj Khalifa from Dubai Opera’s brand new Opera Garden.

Here are the important bits
Your evening starts from 6pm with live entertainment, followed by the Gala Concert in the auditorium.
There will be no valet service available on the night, and taxi drop off is available on the plaza before 6pm only or at Dubai metro
