The Els Club Is Turning 10 And Having A WHOLE MONTH Of Celebrations For It
The Els Club, in Dubai Sports City is turning 10 this month, and has a HUGE amount of events happening throughout the month for members and non-members alike.
The Els Club is a sprawling facility in Dubai Sports City, a namesake of golfing legend Ernie Els.
Here’s what’s happening to celebrate
1. Hops on course for AED10
Selected draughts will be AED10 for the WHOLE MONTH OF APRIL.
2. The Birthday Bundle deal!
For AED1,500 per person, you’l get four rounds of golf, a shirt of your choice, 12 golf balls and eight selected beverage vouchers. YES.
3. The birthday BASH, April 20
On April 20, celebrate the birthday with a PARTYYYY. There will be an African theme to tie in with Ernie Els’ South African heritage, with activations and prizes to be won! Yay!
4. The Els Ladies’ Open, April 24
An open invitation to female golfers from around the region, this tournament will be an 18-hole stroke play event, with a 1pm shotgun start. Members are AED150, non-members AED650.
5. The Lion’s Den April Challenge
Go for glory with the Lion’s Den Challenge.
Members and guests submit their scorecards on a daily basis, and the total score for holes 9-11 will count.
The WINNERS will receive a lesson with Justin Parsons, F&B vouchers, and a Green Fees voucher!

6. The Butch Harman Clinic special
Throughout April there will be special clinics on-course with professionals, to make sure you’re getting the most from your swing.

7th at 4pm – On course with Joe Marshal discussing course management and how to handle the golf course with clever strategy
10th at 10am – Ladies putting clinic with Natalie Goodall showing you the fundamentals of putting to help you hole more putts and reduce your scores
12th at 10am – Ladies’ short game clinic with Natalie Goodall showing you some of the key concepts to help you save strokes from troublesome situations around the green
12th at 6pm – Understanding ball flight with Trackman – Jamie McConnell discusses the ball flight laws and how they can help your golf swing with the help of Trackman
20th at 4pm – Parent & Junior work shop – Joe Marshall Discusses the value of our long term athletic development approach to junior development
21st at 2pm – Performance Putting – Jamie McConnell shows you how to assess your putting stroke and unlock the three fundamental keys to better putting
22nd at 5.30 pm – Fix your Body, Fix Your Slice – Fitness clinic with Allister Parlane to help you improve your body’s functionality and reduce your slice on the golf course
28th at 2pm – Game Based Practice – Jamie McConnell will show you how to keep practicing interesting, exciting and challenging with a clinic on game based practice
29th at 5.30 pm – Better Back for better golf – A fitness clinic with Allister Parlane to help with the most common problem in golf, back pain.
7. GCC Super Six Masters
If you fancy yourself a bit of a golf master, join the GGC Super Six comp.
It’s three traditional formats played over 54 holes.
