This Epic Hip Hop Star Is Selling Out His Gigs And He’s Performing In The UAE NEXT WEEKEND
Who?
He may be young, but Atlanta’s Russ Vitale has amassed a wealth of hip hop experience already.
He began writing lyrics at the tender age of seven, beat-making at 14 and made his first track at 18. Russ isn’t your average artist, he writes his own lyrics that he sings AND raps, produces his beats and acts as the sound engineer.
Understatement: He’s been a busy boy.
What?
Now, Russ is heading over here for his first ever concert in the emirates and it’s set to be LIT.
His appearance marks the launch of new brand and promoters, 1520, which aims to “emphasise the current global renaissance of urban culture, while referencing the depth of the history of Hip Hop.” 1520 are supporting the hip hop scene here by encouraging new and fresh talent to come and visit the region. Gwaaan guys!
Why?
Russ, is the first artist to kick-off the launch in the UAE! Howbowdah for exclusivity?!
Well, Dubai is one of Russ’ top five fan bases in the world, with his largest fan base being Saudi Arabia. He is also widely popular in Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan and was the first rapper to play the arena in Beirut, Lebanon.
The concert will see the likes of RnB and Hip Hop DJs and other local artists along with food trucks for a complete outdoor music festival experience.
Where and when?
The concert will take place at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Al Jazeera Ghantoot (next to Blue Marlin) on Saturday, April 29.
The location between Dubai and Abu Dhabi means the show is super accessible for everyone to attend and it’s open to ALL AGES. Well, hip hop fans are an amazingly diverse group after all!
It even starts at 6pm so everyone has the chance to get down there and our Russ will perform at 9pm.
