Global Village Has Been Voted Best UAE Entertainment Venue And Here’s Why
Global Village has been crowned the top rated entertainment and leisure venue in the UAE in a recent study by YouGov, which though is good news, is hardly surprising.
With fantastic campaigns such as Kids Fest happening this month, as well as ongoing performances, rides and delicious street food it’s no wonder the venue took the win.
We can think of dozens of reasons why it’s one of our favourite past times.
Kids Fest
There’s still time to get involved with Kids Fest – a celebration of everything children love. There is an obstacle course, performances, and The Angry Birds are living at Global Village until February 25!
Global Village has the exclusive rights to the movie stars, so you won’t see them anywhere else this month.
Children can get their photo with the Angry Birds, see circus performers performing amazing tricks and burn off some energy on the bouncy obstacle course.
There are daily performances
If the kids want to get involved, take them to the Global Show Academy which is running for the durations of Kids Fest. The kids can become part of the show with this performance workshop.
If that’s not quite your style, the Main Stage has plenty of performances by the amazing dance troop, City Jam, as well as plenty of other rotating acts.
The kids aren’t the only ones having fun
There are 30 pavilions to explore, selling beautiful wares and putting on authentic performances nightly.
Experience a little piece of Africa, Russia, the United States, Afghanistan, Egypt and loads more – you might even pick up some trinkets or delicious foodstuffs.
If that’s not enough, it’s just a short walk over to Fantasy Island to get your thrills on rides including the iconic Global Village ferris wheel.
It’s a whirlwind of a carnival with games and prizes, music, a Haunted House and plenty more to get the adrenaline pumping.

With some of the best food in town, Global Village has a huge range of restaurants from all over the world serving up a la carte menus, and street food vendors. You’ll be overwhelmed for choice.
