There’s An Oktoberfest-Style Celebration Later This Month And No You Haven’t Got The Dates Wrong

Dust off the dirndl and leiderhosen, Maifest is ON for the sixth year in a row, and it’s basically an early-bird Oktoberfest!

It’s all kicking off at Grand Hyatt Dubai (known for its stellar Oktoberfest promotions too), on April 25, until May 5. 

There’s a German band, Die Kirchdorfer, performing all the favourites.

Maifest is a traditional German celebration 

That celebrates the arrival of Spring. There are usually maypoles, dancing, music and loads of fun, and Maifest at Grand Hyatt Dubai is no exception. 

There is traditional German food that’s the best (which is also the wurst – geddit?). 

And PLENTY of German beers.

The deets 

It’s happening from April 25 until May 5 and is free entry at the Grand Hyatt Dubai. 

Saturday brunch is available for AED205 for food package, or AED310 for house beverages. 

Dresscode is smart casual or German traditional dress – leiderhosen and dirndls are encouraged!
