The 11th edition of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship is being held in Abu Dhabi this coming weekend
And it’s gonna be an absolute cracker.
For tennis fans and ERRYONE.
While the matches are the super-high profile, and exciting, it’s also a fun day out for everyone thanks to the Tennis Village, International Tennis Centre at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi – think exclusive meet & greets with the world’s biggest tennis stars, live music, good food and so much more.
And if you are the biggest tennis fan in the world (but, seriously, who DOESN’T want to see Serena Williams play?), there is also a lot more than just matches going on.
There will be PLENTY of live music and a lot of food and drinks related entertainment
This includes a live cooking show alongside Kevin Anderson and Pat Cash, AND some of the world’s best tennis players cooking tennis-themed dishes- YES YOU HEARD RIGHT.
Tickets start from just AED100 (!!!) and children age 2-12 years can enter for free along with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Expect a lot of firsts – both, on the court and on the sidelines
The line-up already includes some of tennis’ finest including Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, AND Venus Williams.
Important information: this is going to be the first time Serena and Venus Williams will be battling it out in Abu Dhabi.
There will ALSO be a Q&A session with Venus Williams and four local athletes – Zahra Lari (local figure skater), Fatima Alamri (local basketball player), Nouf Alazi (local football player) and Fatima Alali (local ice hockey player).
You can also expect to see MWTC champion and 2018 Wimbledon finalist Kevin Anderson, 2018 French Open Finalist Dominic Thiem (8), Karen Khachanov (11) and Hyeon Chung (25) on the courts.
