10. Al Falamanki
If you’re a fan of Lebanese cuisine and your idea of a perfect evening is a long relaxing dinner followed by shisha, then this spot it for your. A restaurant which has it’s roots in Beirut, this is the second Al Falamanki to open in Dubai. The outdoor dining area is situated opposite The Four Seasons Hotel in Jumeirah and it’s perfectly quaint.
9. Jetty Lounge
This place is the ultimate spot to chill out in Dubai and enjoy a small bit of munch. While the menu offers more ‘light bites’ than a full meal, we will just never tire of the slick layout at this sophisticated beach spot located at the One & Only on the Palm.
8. Bu Qtair Fish Shack
A little less refined that the rest, this is an old school Dubai classic. What used to be a little room – hence the name ‘shack’ – serving mouthwatering fresh catch, has now moved over the road into a bigger premises with indoor seating too. However, outside really is the best way to dine here, even if it is on fancier seats than the plastic stools we were used to.
7. 360
This Jumeirah restaurant/bar kind of has it all. A golf buggy usually transports you down the private pier to the final destination, which is a circular shaped restaurant with the BEST view of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Dine, or enjoy a drink at this spectacular destination, either way you can sit tight knowing you’re in one great spot.
6. The Irish Village
Voted the best Irish Pub in the World (which is HUGE since it’s not even located in Ireland), the Irish Village is the perfect, sheltered outdoor spot for a breath of fresh air, and some good old fashioned brown bread…just like mum makes it.
5. Ruya
New kid on the block Ruya has just opened one of the most stunning terraces in Dubai we’ve seen in awhile. Get your fill of quality Turkish food on this uber-chilled terrace located at the Grosvenor Hotel.
4. Fish Beach Taverna
The Greek-styled Aegean restaurant is new on the Dubai foodie scene but it’s already made a name for itself. Located in the Meridien Mina Seyahi, exceptional food and a unique Mediterranean design are just some of the reasons people keep going back.
3. Bice
Feast on some fine dining Italian food at one of the most beautiful locations in Dubai. Bice is the stylish restaurant on everybody’s lips right now thanks to it’s newly opened terrace, head to this spot located at the Hilton JBR now, before the crowds descend.
2. Pai Thai
A firm favourite for guests visiting. The journey to the restaurant includes a gondola trip which is a charming novelty, however the stunning outdoor terrace and the exceptional Thai food they continue to serve up after a number of years are the reasons it’s still got such a loyal following.
1. Pierchic
While making this list was difficult, choosing number one was not. Arguably Dubai’s most romantic restaurant, Pierchic which is part of Madinat Jumeirah development, needs little introduction. A private stylish jetty leads out to a wooden restaurant which sits pretty over the crystal clear Arabian gulf. And to top it off, the food is incredible too. This is definitely one for a special occasion.
