Not only is one local Dubai company doing its bit to cut the use of plastic in the work place, it’s calling on Careem and Talabat to do the same.

Helpling is a Dubai-based start-up, with German roots, that lets you book home cleaners online. As well as being committed to clean homes, they are also committed to a cleaner environment.

As a company Helping realised it was throwing away 100 single use plastic bottles a day…that’s a lot!

But not uncommon in Dubai offices, so the company decided to make a change.

To combat the waste: Helpling purchased reusable bottles for all staff

Immediately, there was a noticeable drop in waste and the company even cut costs with less bottle purchases.

Not bad for a simple change!

Now, not only has Helpling made a change, it’s calling out other local Dubai companies to do the same.
