There Is A Big UAE To Oman Road Trip Taking Place In January And This One Has Got A Very Unique Twist
When was the last time you went on a road trip? If it’s been a while, we have to wonder why – what’s better than a good road trip?
It doesn’t matter what is going on in your life. As soon as you hit the open road, all those worries and stresses seem to fade away (as long as the traffic doesn’t suck – sharjah, we are looking at you).
Quirky photo ops, randomly following signs that look like they lead to something interesting, being in awe of the continually changing surroundings – what more could one want?
Not wanting to cause excessive fuel emission because the planet is already going through a lot? (Yeah, same.)

Global Electric Vehicle Road Trip (EVRT) is coming back to the UAE with another electric vehicle road trip and it is NOT something you want to miss out on!
(Global EVRT is this incredible company that is working to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles so we can all quickly transition to a more smart and sustainable society – something the UAE’s government is VERY big on.)
The road trip is its second ever in the region and will run for nine days across the UAE and OMAN and ANYONE can sign up for it.
So, essentially it will be like a regular incredible road trip where you enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the two countries and stuff… but will ALSO stop for sustainability focused site visits along the way.
It will also include the opening of new electric vehicle charging stations along the route, opening up new roads to electric vehicle owners.
The road trip starts on January 18, 2018 from Abu Dhabi at the World Future Energy Summit and is part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week
