5. Bangin’ entertainment
The STK entertainers need no introduction, probably because you’ve seen them on the ‘gram. Table rims in the restaurant are made for dancing, and with entertainment from a seriously powerful vocalist, (when I visited, a solo performer was belting out tunes like no other) STK’s one-and-only dancers, a saxophonist, DJ and drummers, there’s no shortage of party atmosphere here.
4. The price
No one likes to harp on about money, but this new event is an absolute steal. You won’t find a three-course meal of this quality, with specially created STK dishes AND free-flowing drinks in one of the hottest restaurants in town for just AED299.
It’s three hours, from 8pm – 11pm every Thursday. Book it in.
3. The food: Where to start…
This is a three-course set menu created just for RARE. The meal kicks off with an almost too-pretty-to-eat quinoa salad and salmon and sea bass ceviche to share, followed by the famous STK sliders, your choice of three mains, (and yup, there’s a prime 200g fillet steak available and the hype IS real) followed by three desserts sharing-style; one of these is a plate of warm cookie dough and it is TO-DIE-FOR.
This would be amazing value in itself, WITHOUT the free-flowing drinks thrown in too.
2. New York vibes
The restaurants are open plan, with a DJ box holding centre stage and a large bar running along one side. Slick, contemporary art covers the walls, the friendly staff are from all over and it’s a very stylish crowd.
