The Quirky ‘That Place’ Cafe Has Revamped Its Menu And It’s A FEAST For Your Eyes And Mouth
Many have been obsessing over its fusion buns for more than a year now, and the decidedly quirky ‘That Place’ cafe in Karama, which is a mix of Mexican, Indian, Italian and Lebanese cuisines, has introduced a BRAND new menu, and you NEED to try this.
Its buns have become bigger, lighter and more nutritional, with ALL buns now being made of wholewheat (as well as several types of salads), while its melt-in-the-mouth quality remains distinctly intact.
This all new AMAZING menu will be available from December 1, just in time for UAE National Day…and we CAN’T wait to get our hands on this gooey goodness TBH!
CAUTION: Seriously, your tummy is about to grumble…
This drool-worthy treat is called Tango Beef (also available in chicken)
It’s a taco flavored beef bun, served with fresh guacamole and sour cream and is for just AED22.
Next on its menu is The Cottage…which apart from giving us ‘gram goals is also incredibly delish
Served here is paneer (or chicken) tikka, boiled egg, mixed salad leaves, crispy garlic, served with a tasty curry tikka mayonnaise..

‘That Place’ has completely overhauled its desserts with just one bun-based dish; it has now introduced several different French-inspired festive goodness.
Like…this glorious Banana Crunch
Which is basically a banana cake topped with banoffee cream, fried banana, walnuts and vanilla ice cream. Drool.
Or this sinfully decadent Pie Cure
A crispy buttery crumble crusts layered with a warm apple sauce, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramelized pistachio…straight from heaven!
The savoury dishes now come with a side dish…and they’re finger-lickin’ good
This is a crowd favourite pav bhaji dish molded and stuffed into a bun and is just for AED16!
