The Pointe Has A Brill Line-Up Of Halloween Celebrations For The Weekend Ahead

In case you’ve been living under a rock, get this… Halloween is THIS weekend, which means it’s time to seek out that one costume from the bottom of your wardrobe and put it to work!

And if you’re looking for one location that has events for all ages…

There is a full weekend of Halloween hijinks at The Pointe, it kicks off on Thursday and runs right through until Saturday, featuring a Dia De Los Muertos parade, Mariachi bands, trick or treat, outdoor movies, face painting and more!

The Pointe is also hosting Dia De Los Muertos weekend from October 31 until November 2

There will be a “Dia De Los Muertos” Day Of The Dead Parade and Festival parade happening on November 1… erm, epic!

A celebration to remember the dead, Dia De Los Muertos is inspired by Mexican culture and happens to coincide with Halloween. Expect Latin American dancers and music, DJs, mariachi bands, face painting and art installations which represent the culture.

The parade is happening on Friday, November 1 and it’s the big event. Don’t miss it!

There are prizes for the best dressed!

Costumes are very much encouraged! Bring the kids and don your best look, there’ll be smartphones and dining experiences as prizes, along with musical performances and dance shows all taking place on the night.

You’ll also spot art, live bands, dance shows, trick or treat in select bars and of course, the Dia De Los Muertos Parade itself, make note!

Head to Central stage from 6pm to 12am

East and West Stages: from 8pm till late

This weather is PERFECT for an outdoor movie night

Almost like a mini-festival, on Saturday the fun continues with stage shows and musical performances. And when you need to kick back and relax there’s an outdoor movie playing, this is ideallllll for this weather and it’s a movie everyone will love.

After party in Meshico

Leave the kids behind, Meshico is throwing a Halloween bash this Friday and it will be one for the ages. Continuing the Dia De Los Muertos theme, expect Mexican culture and flavours to be celebrated at this wild afterparty!
