Take on the lands of the locals and explore the magic of the timeless AlUla as you set off on trails that unlock the mysteries of the desert that allow you to feel as one with nature. Take in the surreal views as you hike or camelback ride through the vast undiscovered historical landscape.
6. ECOTRAIL® AlUla – 10 km
A trail, freshly introduced to visitors through the first edition of ECOTRAIL® AlUla. The eco-responsible trail-running event strongly promotes eco-responsible values and practices, as it allows partakers to discover AlUla and its cultural, historical and natural landmarks through a timed race over a 10 km marked course.
This is the perfect destination and experience for individuals and running clubs to enjoy the many wondrous sites of AlUla in this internationally renowned sports event.
5. ECOTRAIL® AlUla – 10 km Hike
Don’t fancy a 10km run? We’ve got you covered – The ECOTRAIL® AlUla – 10 km Hike is a trail-running event that will allow people to discover AlUla and its cultural, historical and natural landmarks through a timed hike of a 10 km marked course.
Running clubs, individuals and athletes of all kinds are welcome to try out and participate at the ECOTRAIL® AlUla Hike, which is an internationally renowned sports event promoting eco-responsible values and practices.

4. ECOTRAIL® AlUla – 50 km
The ECOTRAIL® AlUla – 50 km takes runners through cultural, historical and natural landmarks through a timed marathon over a 50 km marked course. Race tickets include a craaayy number of freebies, from a bib number, a GPS tracking system, access to refuelling zones to a welcome gift, a finisher T-shirt and an after-race snack.
3. ECOTRAIL® AlUla – 80 km
The ECOTRAIL® AlUla – 80 km is a one-day outdoor event proposing an 80 km trail race, taking participants on a trail that explores cultural, historical and natural landmarks through a timed race over an 80 km marked course.
Participants should have Trail Running gear and equipment as per the race regulations and event rules available on their
website.
2. AlUla Trails – The Arabian Leopard Trail
Become one with nature and immerse yourself in AlUla’s natural and geological heritage. The Arabian Leopard Trail is a 2 hr excursion including an easy hike that offers its visitors an immersion in AlUla’s natural heritage and brings them in contact with its wild flora and geological formation.
Nature enthusiasts can enjoy this proposition every weekend, Thursday to Saturday throughout the season from 19 December 2019 to 07 March 2020.

1. AlUla Trails – The Lost Knight Trail
Hike, camelback ride or take a 4×4 experience around the excursion landscape with The Lost Knight Trail.
This trail is a 3 hr 4×4, camelback riding and hiking adventure that will bring you closer to all things nature and will deepen your knowledge about AlUla’s historical inscriptions by un-locking their meaning and messages through a treasure hunt activation. Guests will ALSO get to enjoy an Arabic tent experience… #Boujeeee!
