Great News! Alcohol Disinfectants Are A Thing Of The Past

Is anyone else suffering from chapped hands syndrome?

The pandemic has taught us that good hygiene habits can slash the odds of becoming unwell significantly. We now know you should wash your hands for 20 seconds MINIMUM, (the length of the birthday song!), and that when you don’t have soap you should carry a hand sanitiser for those moments when you touch a doorknob, an elevator button, or basically ANYTHING that someone else has laid their potentially grubby paws on.

And so we now happily sanitize to keep any unwanted bugs at bay, despite our hands becoming dry and irritated thanks to alcohol sanitiser. But as tech evolves, new products are doing a better job, so why settle for less?

There are more effective cleaning products that will keep you safer for longer

Alcohol disinfectants do a good job, sure, but science and tech are evolving and recent discoveries prove they’ve been superseded by newer technology which is better all-round.

To be effective, sanitising products must contain at least 60% alcohol content, but the difficulty is the more alcohol within the product, the more quickly it disappears and the more quickly you need to reapply.

Plus, alcohol sanitisers shouldn’t be used on large surfaces as they can harden rubber and degrade glue, potentially causing damage to the items you are trying to protect, according to a report by Fine Guard Products. So, not very helpful at home.

This new Fine Guard sanitiser is a game-changer. You only need to apply ONCE every 24 hours to stay protected against bacteria and viruses (parents, are you hearing this?!)

There’s also a surface spray, PureSurfaces, that kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria – and keeps them away for 21 days

These new Fine Guard products don’t contain any alcohol. No chapping, no skin irritation, and MUCH longer-lasting. When you use water-based technologies, you can wash your hands with soap as normal and this won’t affect the protection… How incredible is that?!

You can also try the Fine Guard FabricBooster which can be sprayed onto any type of fabric to repel 99.9% of bacteria and viruses and to keep the fabric safe for 48 hours.

The Fine Guard UltraWipes offers a similar type of technology to bond to surfaces and forms an antimicrobial shield that lasts for 21 days. Imagine not needing to disinfect your kitchen for three weeks!?

Wave goodbye to products that do an ‘OK’ job and welcome the evolution of hand and home sanitisers
