Cloud Seeding Missions Were NOT The Cause Of Yesterday’s Storms

It’s no secret the UAE has a huge interest in cloud seeding technology.

With some of the most advanced technology in the world, 8 cloud seeding missions have been completed in October alone and over 181 since the beginning of the year.

But cloud seeding missions were not the cause of yesterday’s storms, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, via The National.

With many speculating that cloud seeding was the cause of yesterday’s storms, the NCM said the weather formations were too dangerous for pilots to approach for seeding.

The weather was too extreme for cloud seeding missions to take place

Residents were warned of the oncoming weather, schools were closed and though Dubai didn’t see a major extreme, other parts of the UAE were hit by heavy flooding. And though the cloud seeding planes were active ‘missions did not take place’ according to the report.

It would be unsafe for the light aircraft to enter dangerous storms, so rest assured folks, yesterday’s work was alllll down to mother nature.

Other parts of the UAE were more seriously affected by the unstable weather
