A long weekend has just been announced to observe Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday.
Sunday, November 18 will be an official holiday for the private and public sector including all ministries and federal entities.
Work will resume on Monday, November 19.
The birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is celebrated on the 12th day of the Islamic calendar month, the Arabic name for the holiday is Eid Al Mawlid an Nabawi.
Alcohol will not be served in Dubai from Monday, November 19 at 5pm until Tuesday, November 20 at 6pm
