First Look: There’s a new swanky Indian restaurant opening in JLT…

Love a curry? Yep, us too. Love some booze with that curry? Double tick from us too. 

Well you’re in luck, especially if you happen to live or work in JLT (which can be a little dry when it comes to a cheeky tipple) because we’ve just heard about the opening of new indian restaurant Spice & Ice. 

Dubai’s Spice & Ice in cluster A, JLT, is promising ‘progressive Indian cuisine complemented by a stocked bar and resident DJ’, sounds pretty much perfect to us, and it looks super swanky too.

Set to open in a couple of weeks, Spice & Ice  will specialise in modern Indian food as well as wider Pan-Asian cuisine, think: chicken served on a mango carpaccio and asparagus korma infused with miso paste & white wine.

And if the food doesn’t sound amazing enough, you can chill out with one of their signature cocktails (or another drink) as the nightly resident DJ plays tunes through to the early hours.

Spice & Ice will host an array of themed evenings including a Sunday curry and beer night (featuring traditional Indian curries as well as variations from Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Malaysia). Ladies’ night will be Tuesdays with free flowing Prosecco for the ladies from 6pm to 11pm; and Indian Bollywood music nights on Fridays.
