Salt Bae Is Facing Backlash After Bragging About His AED 398k Receipt In Dubai

Dubai’s got a unique vibe – where others might splurge on cars or a sweet studio, they’re dropping almost AED 400,000 on a feast…

Salt Bae is under fire for proudly showcasing his AED 398k receipt in Dubai

Salt Bae just spilled the juicy details on Instagram. The receipt looked like a wild ride, going from a modest AED 25 for fries to a whopping AED 5,100 for three ‘Golden Steaks’.

The patrons also savored drinks, including martinis (AED 480), two bottles of Chateau Petrus 2009 (AED 198,000), one bottle of Petrus 2011 (AED 65,000), and five double glasses of the exclusive Louis XIII cognac neat (coming in at AED 27,500).

You thought it stopped there, didn’t you?… Nope!

The bill showed 11 ‘Golden Baklava’ desserts priced at AED 4,620 (because normal Baklava’s are so old school!). With a tip generously set at AED 90,000 the grand total surpassed the expectations one might have for a meal, or even the cost of a car.

And as Salt Bae captioned this post, “Money comes money goes”

Salt Bae’s no stranger to pricey menus

And this time, he’s flaunting it like a badge of honor. From those previous headlines about wallet-busting bills, this latest move of showing off the menu has everyone chattering…
