One of the few outdoor activities that lasted all summer long (XLine by XDubai has been doing night rides that’ll last till the month of August before resuming normal scheduling in September). 7. Bounce, Al Quoz

If you had a trampoline in your back yard as a kid, chances are you had loads of mates. 6. Laser tag at Laserdrome, Dubai Autodrome

Dubai Autodrome at Media City is not JUST for go karting and motot sports, there’s also an epic Laserdrome.. a 400 square metre Laser Tag arena that’s designed as a medieval maze of glowing dungeon ramparts and artificial fog…. You’re welcome!

5. 3D Minigolf, JBR

Crazy Golf never really went out of fashion, but if you compare that options available now to when you were growing up, your jaw may well need to be picked right up off the floor.

4. Fancy cinema: Try Reel Boutique, Rove Downtown Hotel

The more movie theatres transform into living rooms, the more appealing they become (especially when they’re licensed… AMIRITE?)

The 46-seater ‘Reel Boutique’ concept is an absolute gem. Think comfy seats, a bar menu and service that delivers snacks (not your humble popcorn, the snack game here is on another level) directly to your seat… what a time to be alive.

Get a gang and beat the clock in this exhilarating 21-room challenge experience, this is a favourite because each room has a certain theme ‘patience, logic, fitness or skill’ with varying difficulty levels, everyone has the chance to shine (and work up a sweat!) at these fun tasks.

2. Smash Room, Al Quoz

This is so wrong, and so right. Go to Smash Room to literally obliterate your frustrations, choose your weapon (seriously) and then you have the option to go to town on everything from glass items, to electronic items like tellys and old desktops. Simply smashing.

1. Wavehouse, Atlantis, The Palm

Wavehouse is the kind of place you would have loved as a kid, and now you’re all grown up, (read: you can afford all the fun stuff) it’s even better! Complete with two bowling alleys, a surf machine, all of the best arcade games PLUS…wait for it… this spot is licensed!
