Yesterday, the first WASLA music festival took place in Dubai Media City Ampithetre. It was The WASLA music festival. Billed as the ‘Arab Alternative Music’ festival it brought together bands from six countries. Think of the international indie bands you know of, and then think of them singing Arabic music, then you get WASLA. It was a huge success.
