A Sri Lankan nanny is unaware her husband has passed and her Emirati employer was unsure how to tell her, according to reports.

Knowing the news would probably devastate her, he chose to arrange her flights home, telling her only that her husband was in poor health. In this video he can be seeing bidding her farewell before her flight.

The woman, Sally, who had worked with the family for many years is clearly concerned. The man consoles her and thanks her for treating his family as though it were her own.

He then offers her a permanent place in his household, not as a nanny but as a family member. A beautiful gesture for a woman who had spent her life with this family and had no children of her own.
