The UAE was a sight to behold on NYE with the abundance of fireworks and light shows taking place across the country. 

From RAK to Sharjah to Abu Dhabi to Dubai, every Emirate pulled out all the stops in welcoming 2018.

Here’s a rundown of the all the epic shows that took place yesterday. You can thank us later! 😛

1. Burj Al Arab in Dubai dazzled the crowd with the fireworks

2. So did Atlantis The Palm, Dubai

3. Who can forget the historical light show of Burj Khalifa, Dubai

4. The scintillating show at Dubai Festival City seriously wowed the audience

5. And then there were 7 New Year’s celebrations in one night at Global Village, Dubai

6. The biggest celebration in Sharjah took place at Al Majaz Waterfront

7. The show at the Abu Dhabi Corniche was another mesmerising affair

8. Katy Perry pretty much brought the house down at du Arena Yas Island and gave quite an unforgettable NYE experience

9. Last, but not the least, was the record-breaking fireworks display at Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
