Thousands Of Inmates Have Been Pardoned Ahead Of Ramadan And Are Being Assisted In Resuming Their Lives

The month of peace, blessing, and forgiveness is coming up and the rulers of the the UAE are all about the Ramadan spirit already.

Over 3,000 prisoners across the UAE have been released on the occasion of Ramadan

A statement confirming the releases was made on the order of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday.

HH Shaikh Khalifa has ALSO pledged to settle the financial obligations of the 3,005 released prisoners.

This gesture reflects the UAE’s priority in providing former prisoners with an opportunity to start a new life and help them and their families get through hardships easily.

Hundreds of prisoners have also been released in Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah ahead of Ramadan.
