Oktoberfest Is HERE: Here Are The 5 Best Spots To Break It Down Bavarian Style

Oktoberfest, the German festival that celebrates beer, food and dance, has rolled round once more, and if you have yet to party Bavarian style, I URGE you to visit one of these parties.
Seriously, it’s big brass bands, table dancing, litre glasses of beer and German food…the dream situation.
1. The Grand Hyatt Is Having The Biggest Party In Town
The Grand Hyatt erects a whopper tent every year and it might just be the best in town. In true Bavarian style, lots of get into true Bavarian costume, beer pong, a band is flown in from Bavaria each and every year and trust me, this goes OFF.
Oktoberfest is on at Grand Hyatt Dubai from October 10-27.
The tent will be open 7pm-1am Tue-Wed, 7pm-2am Thu-Fri, and 12.30-4pm Saturdays (closed Sunday/Monday).
The tent will be a la carte daily, with a buffet on Saturdays for AED249 with soft drinks or AED349 with house beverages.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Emirates Platinum Card holders and Hoteliers (upon presenting hotel ID) can avail a 25% discount on the full bill.

2. For two days only, the Dome at Dubai Sports City will be party central
Step into the Dome in Dubai Sports City on October 4 and 5 and feel like you’re stepping into Bavaria where they’re celebrating the best of Germany, from brews to bratwurst and schnitzel to sauerkraut.
A DJ and live entertainment will be providing the tunes all night looonnnggggg.
Tickets just AED35 per person. Entry is FREE for anyone who dresses for the occasion in drindls and lederhosen.

3. Barasti becomes Bavaria but there’s only a few days left
Barasti has a knack for transforming depending on the celebration and the beach club does a whopper job when it comes to Oktoberfest.
This year, it’s a NINE day celebration, with traditional food, Bavarian hits provided by Oompah Band and, of course, a bucketload of hops.
When? September 20 – 28

4. An Oktoberfest that gives you 50% off hops – YAS please!
Introducing VantageFest, only a hop (geddit) skip and a jump from Mall of the Emirates, where you can get a discount on hops for the full festival at the chill lounge and terrace. This is more a chill spot to enjoy some drinks, but at half price, who’s complaining?!

5. And one you may not have tried before: Oktoberfest on the Palm at The Tap House, Club Vista Mare
Food, drinkies and celebrations are the order of the day at the Tap House which has a special traditional Bavarian menu for just AED79.
The good stuff you’ve heard about Bavarian food is alllll true and you can try it here. Prepare to tuck into bratwurst, currywurst, steckerlfisch (grilled fish on a stick) pretzels and loads more. Say proust and fill your tummy with this lot!
