A Boy Called 999 To Invite Abu Dhabi Police For Lunch And That’s Not The Most Interesting Part About This

We recently discussed about how the Dubai police has been inundated with calls from people calling the emergency helpline number for non-emergency purposes. 

And now it’s the Abu Dhabi police who got the most unusual albeit a friendly call on 999 from a little boy.

The boy made a generous call to the police to invite the entire force over for lunch!

According to their Twitter page, the Abu Dhabi police, touched by the gesture, accepted the boy’s invitation and scheduled it to a later date

Although it remains to be seen whether they’ll actually go forward with it, they definitely urged residents to not call the emergency helpline unless it’s an actual emergency.
