Speed Limit Increased Dubai Road

Take note drivers, Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road will have its speed limit increased from Saturday.

The road, which currently has a speed limit of 80kmph, will be increased to 90kmph, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police.

The buffer speed limit will be adjusted to 110kmph.

This new change will come into effect from tomorrow

This eight-lane road was recently renamed Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan street from Academic City Road after the UAE royal family member who was injured while serving the UAE in the conflict in Yemen.

It's a 50-km stretch that runs from Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road to the Oman Street intersection and cuts through Dubai Silicon Oasis, Arabian Ranches as well as the Expo 2020 site.
