The Dubai Food Festival kicks off on Thursday which means the city basically turns into one big smorgasbord from February 23 until March 11.
There are a lot of moving parts to the 17-day celebration of nosh, so here’s a quick breakdown some of the top events for your diary.
Miele Dubai Restaurant Week
In an aim to make some of Dubai’s most prestigious restos more accessible, Miele Restaurant Week offers AED199 three-course set menus at some of the poshest places in town.
The Burj Al Arab’s Scape has already sold out, and Pier Chic at the Madinat is on the way to selling out now too.

The Etisalat Beach Canteen
Running for the duration of the Dubai Food Festival, the Etisalat Beach Canteen is an activation behind Sunset Mall in Jumeirah.
The set-up including running programming of live performances and classes, including a busker-show, hip hop dancers and fitness classes.
Eat The World DXB
The food truck festival launched its inaugural popup in Burj Park last year and attracted a whopping 20,000 visitors. This year, the focus is on American fare, and you can pick up one of these brisket monsters.
Hidden Gems of Dubai
The UAE’s foodies took a vote and picked out the best affordable dining options in the city. There are the top 10 outlets, and the top 10 Emirati venues – and you can see the map of the gems here.

Street Nights
The urban addition to the festival, Street Nights is where all the cool kids hang out. From March 2-3, Street Nights is a celebration of everything street, and brings together urban artists, performers and street-food outlets at JBR.
Taste of Dubai
Get samples of some of the city’s best restaurants at the ultimate foodie’s day out from March 9-11. There will be live entertainment, plenty of delicious fare to taste, and a dedicated kids play area so you can bring along the whole clan. Celebrity chefs will be hosting cooking classes and activations too.
