6 Fascinating Things You Need To Know About Dubai Safari Park Before It Opens

Yesterday we told you Dubai Safari Park is nearing completion and the reaction was nuts.

People are very excited about the new park, and we can see why. Here are 6 awesome things you should know before the big day (gates will hopefully open in the next couple of months).

1. It will be twice the size of the Vatican City

We kid you not. Dubai Safari park will be twice the size of a small city…they don’t call it the city of superlatives for nothing.

2. Areas will be divided into separate ‘villages’ to suit interests

An area for Arabian Safari, an Asian village, an African village and a safari village.

3. There will be a 1,000 seater theatre

There’s also a clean energy production garden and an interactive garden for children.

4. A 7.5 hectare valley will include a waterfall and a lake filled with fish

5. The project is expected to cost close to AED 151 million

6. Animals on site will include lions, antelopes and elephants
