QATAR: Qatari Soldiers Are Given 48 Hours To Leave Bahrain While Turkey Troops Arrive In Qatar For Military Exercises

Bahrain has given Qatari troops 48 hours to evacuate the country, after it was discovered that several were at the US military base in Manama. 

Qatari nationals were ordered to leave Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt earlier this month as part of a severing of diplomatic ties between Gulf countries and Qatar. 

The soldiers were working at the military base, when the Bahraini contacted the commander of the base to evict Qatari troops. 

Meanwhile in Qatar

Turkish troops have arrived in Doha for military exercises. 

Additional Turkish troops were deployed to Qatar following the Gulf fall out, with the bill for the troops’ deployment fast-tracked in Turkey to allow for it.
